Hello, thank you for checking out my page! My name is Rexie and I am a local balanced dog trainer serving North San Diego County (located in Vista CA) here to help you and your pup have better communication with one another. Offering a variety of services to accommodate your needs and schedule.
About Rexie
Hello my name is Rexie Monjaraz and here's a bit about me. I first got into dog training a couple years ago when I was given a crazy little bull breed mix puppy for my birthday which I named Ryo (black American Staffordshire Terrier mix). I started training him and really feel in love with it thinking "what else can I teach him". A couple months later, I got another puppy beautiful puppy named Teddy (tan American Staffordshire Terrier mix), a year later adopted a Rottweiler named Hadez. I also have a German shepherd so I have 4 personal dogs. Everyday I would take them everywhere to train and socialize constantly trying new training techniques. After some time and getting noticed online, I got invited to a professional training facility where I have had the chance to work hands on everyday with hundreds of dogs for 1.5 years. I have since gone out on my own for a while now to pursue my own business and career. I have worked with many breeds and issues like human/dog aggression, reactivity, resource guarding, poor obedience, high anxiety, poor social skills and more. I have a deep understanding of dog body language, psychology, and pack dynamics after much education and experience. I believe dogs are not pets but are domesticated predators that deserve to have a job and deserve be treated with respect, they are the most amazing companions that are so smart and in tune. My goal is to help you and your dog have a better understanding of one another because trained dogs have much better and fulfilling lives. All breeds and ages are welcome. I also enjoy fostering and work with a great non profit rescue, Shelter Street Dogs, so I also usually have dogs available for adoption with me.

All Obedience
Obedience is something all dogs should know so you have structure in your lifestyle. Basic obedience is the basics like leash walking, while advanced obedience is more advanced commands in more public settings with distractions. Trained dogs live better lives!
Reactivity and other Behavior Modification
Reactivity can mean a lot of things like excitement, aggression, dominance, boredom and more. This is when dogs bark, lounge, whine and show other undesirable behaviors around people, dogs, and other triggers. Obedience directly ties into this by establishing structure and expectations .
Board and Trains/Training School
A board and train is when your dog stays with me for 1-6+ weeks straight, giving time for me to consistently train, socialize, and play. Training schools are similar but your dog only stays half the day for set days.
Proper Socialization/Confidence Building/Pack walks/Dog Walking
Socializing includes many things like proper exposure to dogs (teaching good social skills), environments, animals, smells, textures, sounds and more. This builds your dog's confidence by showing them that fears can be conquered and the real world is not scary.
